Of course the big news for 2017 was the Guinness World Record Attempt in Penzance for the Most Pirates in one Place. It was held in August, Saturday 26th - Sunday 27th  culminating in the Pirate attempt on the World Record on the Promenade at Penzance on Sunday  27th August, from noon.  Enjoy the video of the event below.
